Back home ... at last

We arrived back home on November 1st without a hitch. we made all our connecting flights and all of our luggage made it here with us.

Dominica was celebrating their 30th Anniversary of Independence and the island's little airport couldn't handle the great amount of visitors. So many unhappy people and lost luggage.

The past few weeks we've just been readjusting , cleaning, fixing and getting reacquainted with our friends and neighbors.

It feels like we've been gone more than eight months.

Started doing art classes with my friend, Ms. Faye. We are going to try and do most projects using recyclable items. i.e cans, plastic bottles, styrofoam stuff, egg cartons etc.

The principal at the primary school has Mr. B busy already and I plan on working in the library.

I'm missing our family and our granddaughter but Dominica is our home now.

I didn't realize how much I missed this beautiful island.
