This is the Roman Catholic Church in Castle Bruce.
The steeple was damaged during the big earthquake we had here last year on the 29th of November. I believe it was a 7.6 and it lasted a full two minutes if not more. Very scary.
The church steeple was badly damaged and had to be removed. They saved all the stone from it and hope to rebuild it someday.
I really miss the bell ringing at 6pm.. maybe not the 6am as much.
