Had a wonderful holiday here in Dominica. Keeping busy with the school library and some art classes.Pictured is a brand new stove that was donated by my brother and sister-in-law's church.
A few days before Christmas holiday my husband was asked to come to the school kitchen and see if he could fix the stove they had. When he came home he said he was able to fix the burners but not the oven. "What they need is a replacement"
The very next day, David and Marybeth emailed and asked what the school might need. Their church, The Central Woodward Christian Church in Troy Michigan, would like to help.
I wrote back saying books for the library would be great but the cost of shipping is high. I then told them about the stove situation. In a matter of days, money was sent down and we were able to purchase this stove. Awesome!!
That was the best Christmas gift we've had in a long time.
