Opened my back door Christmas morning to this cow grazing across the ravine. He's eaten all the banana trees on the side of this steep hill. Completely cleared it . At first, I felt sorry for her. She's tied up to a mango tree. I guess the owner wants this land cleared of banana trees to plant dasheen. Yuck.
Like I said I was feeling bad for her being afraid she'll fall down into the ravine and break her leg or neck. After a message from my brother on New Year's Eve telling me how they were celebrating by having filet for dinner I know see the cow in a different way...... pot roast, juicy steak and burgers. Lucky for her she's a bit on the skinny side.
